If you use sunbeds, this is a great way to keep your mouth exposed when you apply whitening gel to the teeth. They UV from the sunbed will help activate the gel. If you will be using a whitening pen without the use of a sunbed, it's recommended to purchase an LED accelerator light (also works as a retractor) instead of this mouth retractor.
